Overview

BetterBugs and GitHub integration lets you post issues directly to your GitHub repo as GitHub issues. You can create a visual bug report with all the details you need to highlight to share the issue with your teammates and raise the issue directly on your GitHub repo.

Report bugs like a Pro

Steps to integrate BetterBugs with GitHub:

Step 1: Download and install the BetterBugs extension.

Step 2: Capture the bug using the “Take a screenshot” , “Screen Record” , or “Rewind”feature.

Step 3: Add a title to your bug (Required). Fill in the bug report with all necessary details regarding the issue.

Step 4: Click the “Send to your tools” button, then select “Connect GitHub” from the drop-down menu.

Step 5: Authorize BetterBugs to connect with your GitHub account.

Step 6: On the bug report screen, click “Send to your tools” again, choose “GitHub issue” , select the repository, fill in any additional fields, and click the “Upload bug” button to post the issue.

After completing these steps, a new tab will open with the GitHub issue you created, and you’ll be able to access the full bug report on the BetterBugs dashboard. You’ve now successfully set up BetterBugs with GitHub!
