Using BetterBugs, you can send bug reports directly to the connected Azure project to streamline defect reporting and management. Once you’ve captured an issue and connected a BetterBugs project to your Azure workspace, you can instantly create and send Azure Work Items directly from the bug report screen to your Azure project. You can easily access the complete bug report using the links and other details shared on your Azure project.

Steps to integrate BetterBugs with Azure Boards:

Here’s how to integrate BetterBugs with your Azure DevOps Boards from scratch:

Step 1: Install the BetterBugs extension and capture a bug using the Screenshot, Screen Record, or Rewind feature.
Step 2: Add details like the bug title (required) and other necessary information.

Step 3: Open the “Send to your tools” dropdown from the top right corner of the report screen.

Step 4: Click “Connect Azure Boards” and authorize BetterBugs for Azure.

Step 5: Once your BetterBugs project is successfully connected to an Azure project, click the “Send to your tools” dropdown.

Step 6: Select “Azure Work Item” and fill out the details (Organization, Project, Type, and so on) in the template fetched from the selected Azure project.

Step 7: Hit the “Upload Bug” button.

No more steps are required. You’ve successfully integrated your BetterBugs project with Azure and shared an Azure Work Item on your Board.
